Position: BUS MONITOR

Job Description Bus Monitors are responsible for consumer care and the safety of the consumers in their care. They will take care of the consumer’s personal needs in instances where the consumer is unable to do so. The job tasks include interaction with the consumers; monitoring their general health and behaviors; especially, being aware of people with seizures, behavior issues, etc.The monitors are responsible to make sure the consumers are properly buckled in: including, when applicable, making sure all wheelchairs are properly tied down and secured. All staff personnel are expected to embrace the philosophies that Camp Venture adheres to, including Gentle Teaching and Person Centered Planning.

Hours 20 Hours per week
Salary: $11.00/ HOUR

Agency requirement for all positions:
- Age 21 & over
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License with 3 years clean driving record
- Successful completion of six days competency based training
