Rockland Boulders Camp Venture Charity Challenge

Rockland Boulders Camp Venture Charity Challenge

Doing good, it would seem, has been very good for the Rockland Boulders as the Camp Venture Charity Challenge night was yet another big win evening for the home town heroes. On August 23, the night designated as Venture’s Charity Challenge night, the Boulders came from behind to secure a playoff spot in the Can Am league finals with an exciting win over the Garden State Greys. Powered by a bottom of the ninth walk-off homer by Joe Maloney, it was a magic night for the team and for Camp Venture.

It’s now officially a streak as last year’s Venture Charity Challenge night saw the Boulders clinch the 2014 championship. As long time Venture staffer and avid Boulder’s fan Pattii Statler explains: “ I guess we are just great luck for this team. What an exciting game and what a great night. The Boulder’s are great and we are so grateful for their support.”

Down on the field to accept the big check for Venture was the Venture Foundation gang ably led by Jen Sernotti.

What an evening it was for the Venture and our favorite home town boys of summer, the Rockland Boulders. Many many thanks to Active International and the Boulders for their support through the Charity Challenge. Go Boulders!
