Valentines Day Party Fun

Hearts were all aflutter as the Venture family hosted a gala Valentine’s Day celebration on February 18.

The Venture Center’s Colman/Gromack auditorium, as one of the attendees described it, was a throw back to the romance of the 50’s era as this high school- like setting turned party place came alive for a spirited Saturday afternoon event. DJ John got things going with a medley of dance tunes which wafted about the hall as revelers got down to the serious business of mixing and romancing.

In addition to the Venture family, friends from Hudson Valley houses, Tanglewood, Crystal Run and the community were there to share the love. And, as things heated up, Peter, Ryan and Charlie showed off their best dances moves as the likes of Judy, Angel and Trisha swooned to the charms of these handsome and dashing cavaliers. The place was abuzz with music, laughter, as countless romantic intrigues unfolded amid a room packed with nearly 300 friends.

There were holiday treats and loads of dancing, socializing and foot-stomping fun in the best traditions of Camp Venture.
