What do special kids do after school?

Camp Venture is committed to families, and to active and fun programming for our children. Venture After-School programs off er a fun and safe option for special kids, ages 5 to 21, with a wide range of needs. With the Venture Good Neighbor program based at the Venture Center in Sparkill, and the Venture After- School program based at the Jesse Kaplan School, Building 6 in West Nyack, as well as at the Suffern Middle School in Ramapo, Camp Venture can provide an after-school option that is certain to meet your needs.

Halloween DayOur experienced, professional staff knows how to work with special needs children.

We provide a wealth of interesting options tailored to the needs and preferences of your child. Activities include swimming, homework help and even bowling for some groups. It’s not just babysitting – these are programs where young people can have fun, learn and grow.

Parents pick up their children by 6PM at the program site. The program is open on most school days, and closed during school holidays and snow days.

Transportation to one of our community sites is available from most of Rockland County’s Special Education programs.
